2021: JOURNEY TO A NEW NORMAL
TO OUR PATIENTS:
We are winning this war against Covid-19. We still have to be careful, however, moving forward
as it is not over yet. One of the silver linings of this dark pandemic cloud is that we have learned
a lot about infection control. We have gotten better at preventing not only Covid-19, but the
common cold, the flu, and many infectious diseases. Although I look forward to a time when we
don't have to wear masks full-time in the office, we will continue to do most of our now perfected
sanitization routine indefinitely.
Please be prepared to have your pupils dilated, and allow 60-90 minutes to be at the office for a
full exam. We respect everyone's time as best as we can, however there are days where patients
are added to the schedule for urgent care, or a certain patient needs extra time that puts us behind
schedule. Feel free to text the office number on the day of your appointment to see if the doctor is
running on-time. Earlier appointments usually go faster.
Texting is our preferred media, and you can text our office number to request an appointment or
for any other business. If you cannot communicate by text, let us know and we will arrange to
communicate with you in your preferred media. Phone calls are fine, however very often we
cannot pick up the phone during business hours when we are busy with patients so if you call
please leave a detailed voicemail and someone will get back to you.
WHEN YOU ARRIVE AT OUR OFFICE:
You may come right in, however MASKS ARE STILL REQUIRED IN THE OFFICE AND YOU ARE
RESPONSIBLE FOR BRINGING YOUR OWN. Mask wearing in medical facilities is still state law. I
look forward to seeing everyone's smiles inside the office soon, but not just yet. Please use hand
sanitizer available at the reception area when you enter the office. The door will usually be open,
but if it is locked please wait in the hallway or go back to your vehicle and text or call 508-285-2015.
We will text or call you back when we are ready to bring you inside. Have a fun and safe Summer!
See you soon.

TUES & THURS 12PM-7PM
"Love what you do, and you'll never work a day in your life." Dr. Beth Chenier has over twenty five years of experience in primary care optometry and is still as excited about patient care as ever. She enjoys the challenge and variety of primary care, from giving a child's first pair of glasses, to fitting a teen's first contact lenses, to evaluating a patient's eye health, to relieving a patient's discomfort from infection or injury...sometimes all in the same day.
A 1993 graduate of The New England College of Optometry, Dr. Chenier is licensed in Massachusetts and Rhode Island (Advanced Therapeutics). Previously, she held an As Qualified therapeutic license in Connecticut. She has been an associate with Dr. Bukowski since 1997 and also maintains a practice in Fall River, MA.
Dr. Bukowski practices with a simple philosophy: to give every patient the very best care possible. He has earned some of the highest patient satisfaction ratings not only in the area, but nationally during his nearly three decades of practice. Dr. Bukowski is highly qualified and keeps up with the latest advances in eye care, yet he continues to embrace the traditional values of patient care. Dr. Bukowski treats eye injuries and infections, providing a phone number at which he can be reached for off-hour emergencies. He manages cataracts, glaucoma, corneal, vitreous, and retinal problems. Dr. Bukowski also co-manages surgical cases with a highly qualified network of eye surgeons in the area.
